Within 20 seconds the Marsden MBF-60000/6010 can calculate and provide a printout of the patient’s age, height, weight and BMI plus fat%, fat mass, fat free mass, basal metabolic rate and total body water complete with a recorded date and time. The data output facility (RS-232) will also allow connection to a PC to record the data. The MBF-6000 is a portable scale with no fixed column for the indicator whilst the MBF-6010 offers a column mounted indicator and can be fitted with optional manual, digital or auto height measure and printer, both machines are MDD Class Im approved and the weighing mechanism is NAWI Class III approved.
