What is the MSS-JIK-NA Bench Scale?
The MSS-JIK-NA is a multifunctional bench scale suitable for automating your weighing processes, potentially saving you time and money.
The Jadever JIK indicator has an RS-232 output which means the scale can be connected to printers and PCs, and can also control other devices such as those feeding produce to the scale for weighing. For a relatively small investment, you can create a weighing and filling process that requires less supervision and is more accurate - and records the weight of everything placed on the scale.
How can I send weight data from the scale to a PC?
If you need to keep a record of weight readings, the MSS-JIK-NA is one of the quickest and easiest solutions for doing this directly from the scale. It has an RS-232 output, which allows you to connect the MSS-JIK-NA to a laptop or desktop PC via the optional Scale to PC USB Lead. Add this to your order by clicking the checkbox above.
There is no software required for using the Scale to PC USB Lead. Simply connect the scale to your computer via the USB port, open an Excel spreadsheet, and add an item to the scale. Press Print on the indicator and the weight reading will appear in the spreadsheet.
Weight (or count, if the scale is in Count mode), date and time can all be sent. A wireless solution, a Bluetooth dongle, is also available from the Accessories list.
How can I print from this scale?
If you need to create sticky labels of weight readings, there are two printers available that will print directly from the scale.
For printing labels to a maximum width of 76mm, choose the GP-3120. The Godex printer has a maximum print width of 56mm but can be used with the scale in conjunction with another accessory – for example the Scale to PC USB Lead, light tower or industrial remote display.

What are automated weighing processes?
An optional relay board allows you to automate weighing processes, which can help save you time and money. Via the relay board, this scale can control other devices, resulting in automated filling (include liquid filling) and weighing. For example, a hopper feeding produce onto the scale for weighing can be switched off when the scale detects that the target weight has been hit.
The scale features a hi/lo alarm, which will help make your filling processes more accurate and therefore reduce waste. A red/amber/green traffic light display will indicate whether you are below, above or have hit a pre-defined target weight.
Why should I choose a bench scale with the JIK indicator?
For relatively little investment, you can revolutionise how you weigh in your factory of warehouse. A scale that can control how much you weigh, or fill, requires less supervision. The MSS-JIK-NA can also be used anywhere it’s required, with rechargeable battery power lasting 40 hours.
The scale has Count, Tare, Preset Tare and second scale input features. An accumulation function adds up a number of weight readings automatically. The indicator is unit switchable, and also has an IP rating of 67 - meaning it can be washed down.
