What is the HSS-JIK-NA?
The HSS-JIK-NA is a stainless steel bench scale with multiple options for speeding up weighing processes, including sending weight readings to printers and PCs and relay boards for controlling other devices.
This bench scale has a 304 food grade base and is IP67 rated, making it suitable for weighing in damp, humid and dusty environments.
How can I send weight data from the scale to a PC?
If you need to keep a record of weight readings, the HSS-JIK-NA is one of the quickest and easiest solutions for doing this directly from the scale. It has an RS-232 output, which allows you to connect the scale to a laptop or desktop PC via the optional Scale to PC USB Lead. You can order this by adding it to your cart above.
There is no software required. Simply connect the scale to your computer via the USB port, open an Excel spreadsheet, and add an item to the scale. Press Print on the indicator and the weight reading will appear in the spreadsheet.
Weight (or count, if the scale is in Count mode), date and time can all be sent to your PC. If you need a wireless solution for recording weight readings on your PC, a Bluetooth dongle is available from the Accessories list.
How can I print from this scale?
Alternatively, you may want to record weighing data on a sticky label. There are two printers available that will print such labels directly from the scale, and can sit on a bench next to the scale.
For printing labels to a maximum width of 76mm, choose the GP-3120. The Godex printer has a maximum print width of 56mm but can be used with the scale in conjunction with another accessory – for example the Scale to PC USB Lead, light tower or industrial remote display.

What are automated weighing processes?
An optional relay board allows you to automate weighing processes, which can help save you time and money. Via the relay board, this scale can control other devices, resulting in automated filling (include liquid filling) and weighing. For example, a hopper feeding produce onto the scale for weighing can be switched off when the scale detects that the target weight has been hit.
Choose this scale for automated liquid filling applications.
Plus, the indicator has a hi/lo alarm. A red/amber/green traffic light display will indicate whether you are below, above or have hit a pre-defined target weight.
Why should I choose a bench scale with the JIK indicator?
The Jadever JIK is a multifunctional indicator and, for relatively little investment, can revolutionise how you weigh in your factory of warehouse. A scale that can control how much you weigh, or fill, requires less supervision.
The HSS-JIK-NA is IP67 stainless steel so suitable for harsher working conditions than the mild steel equivalent. 40 hours of rechargeable battery power means you can use the scale wherever you need it.
The scale is fitted with encapsulated loadcells, meaning it has extra protection to water damage.
The scale has Count, Tare, Preset Tare and second scale input features. Capacity, graduations and base size options can be chosen above. Watch the video above to see the HSS-JIK in action.
