What is the M-110?

The Marsden M-110 is a premium quality, Class III Approved column scale with a 250kg capacity. This scale is powered by rechargeable battery and, because it is highly accurate, is most commonly used on hospital wards and in outpatient departments.

This version comes with the HM-201M - a manual height measure that fits to the column and means you can take a patient’s weight, height and BMI with one device.

Why should I choose a column scale over a floor scale?

Column scales have their indicator mounted on a column, meaning the weight reading is much closer to the user and therefore easier to read.

Column scales can also be fitted with a height measure, meaning they are a more convenient all-round measuring station. In the case of this model, the HM-201M height measures the patient’s height can be taken, then inputted using the full numeric keypad so that BMI can be calculated too.

Plus, this column scale can be fitted with a printer (this can be mounted on a bracket which affixes to the column) for printing the patient’s weight, height and BMI.

Who uses the M-110 with manual height measure?

As a portable column scale with fitted wheels, the M-110 is perfect for GP surgeries and clinics, who can calculate BMI in a timely manner using the manual height measure. The scale takes up limited space which is ideal for GP consulting rooms and waiting areas, as well as Outpatient departments. With a 250kg capacity it’s suitable for almost any patient.

What other features does this M-110 have?

Marsden’s M-110 is covered by our 4 Year Warranty.

This robustly-built scale features wheels on the base for extra convenience, as well as a rechargeable battery providing upto 55 hours’ use.

The two digital displays on the M-110's indicator mean patient weight is displayed big and clear, with height and BMI readings showing on the second screen. Readings can be printed using the optional TP-2100 printer.

The height measure calculates height from 60cm - 2m in increments of 1mm.

Optional Bluetooth or Wifi connectivity means these column scales can be set up to wirelessly send weight, height and BMI data to central databases. USB connectivity is also available - for more information about transferring patient weight, height and BMI data from the scale please call us.
