What is the TW Series Analytical Balance?
The TW is a high precision scale designed to weigh small capacities within a sub-milligram range. This is a highly accurate lab balance with just the essential features required for high precision weighing. This makes it of the the most affordable Shimadzu balances in our range. Internal automatic calibration means the scale can be calibrated at the press of a button, and WindowsDirect software is included for sending weight information to your PC.
How accurate is this balance scale?
A balance is a high accuracy weighing scale, usually weighing in sub-milligram ranges.
A choice of capacities and accuracies are available for the TW precision balance, with accuracies to 0.001g. To protect the scale from interference, there is a wind break - so that wind does not affect the highly accurate reading.
How can weight information be recorded?
Weight information can be recorded from this scale by simply connecting it to your PC and pressing ‘Print’. All that is required is an I/O to RS-232 cable.
All Shimadzu balances available from Marsden have WindowsDirect software installed. When ‘Print’ is pressed, the data will populate any document that is open on your screen, such as an Excel spreadsheet.
Why should I choose the TW Series?
Choose the TW Series if you need an affordable, accurate analytical balance with simple but easy to use weighing and data recording features.
The scale features the touch-key internal calibration. At the push of a button, the scale can run a calibration check so it stays highly accurate.
The weighing chamber on the balance is big enough to house flasks. Subsequently, any external factors such as dust or drafts are eliminated, which can influence the reading given.
The Piece Counting function is ideal for batch weighing as it can count up to five samples. The recall function means readings can be stored and revisited. A comparator mode enables the user to compare target values or enter a pass/fail criteria - with the results displayed clearly on the illuminated display.
