What is the V-22?
The Marsden V-22 Veterinary Scale is a lightweight, portable animal scale ideal for veterinary consulting rooms and pet owners. This digital animal scale has a weighing platform suitable for cat weighing and dog weighing. The wipe-clean weighing tray can also be removed, with a smaller weighing platform for rabbits or guinea pigs underneath. This scale is used by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
Why should I weigh my pet?
A pet’s weight can be the only, and is often the first, indicator of poor pet health. According to veterinary specialists ‘pet obesity is the number one issue facing vets.’ Overweight or obese pets can encounter breathing problems, as it can be more difficult to move the excess weight the larger they become.
Why should I choose the V-22?
The V-22 is a highly accurate scale for weighing small animals, with a 20kg capacity and graduations to 5g.
The scale features Tare - to remove unwanted weight from the reading, like a blanket, and Automatic Hold - which stabilises the weight reading on the display automatically, even if the pet is moving. Weight can be displayed in kg or lb. A previous weight reading memory makes comparing past and present weight readings easy.
Power is provided by 4x AA batteries, providing at least 40 hours’ continuous use.
