What is the PB-SS-I-200?
The Marsden PB-SS-I-200 is a set of highly robust and portable 304 food grade stainless steel weigh beams. The beams are waterproof to IP68, making them ideal for wash down areas and food factories where the scale needs to be kept hygienic. This highly durable and easy to use industrial weighing scale is available in a choice of capacities ranging from 600kg to 2000kg.
What does the IP rating mean?
The scale’s IP rating shows how protected it is from water and dust. The first digit refers to the scale’s protection against dust and the second digit is protection against water and other liquids.
If the scale is IP65 rated, the scales are protected from moisture when wiped down with a damp cloth. IP67 scales are known as splashproof, have protection from moisture and after use can be washed down. IP68 is fully waterproof, suitable for the most punishing environments.
The PB-SS-I-200 is waterproof to IP68 and the indicator is IP67 rated.
