Why do I need to wear a face mask?
Face masks help to reduce transmission of COVID-19 by people who may not realise they have it yet. Around the world, and now in the UK too, governments are advising that face masks should be worn in public.
What are the benefits of this face mask?
This non-woven fabric face mask has a three-layer structure for effective filtration, helping to prevent bacteria/microorganisms and PM2.5 air pollution from reaching the airways. The elastic ear ropes are designed for comfort, and an adjustable ridge clip provides better airtightness.
The face masks are recommended to help reduce COVID-19 transmission, as per UK Government recommendations, in public, enclosed spaces and public transport. Businesses may also wish to issue face masks to employees where social distancing may not be possible.
What is the correct way to wear a face mask?
Unfold the mask with the blue side facing outwards. Fix the ear hanging rope around the ears. Adjust the ridge clip, making sure the mask is fitted to your face tightly. Ensure the nose, mouth and jaw are all adequately covered.
