From medical weighing scales to sponsorship: Marsden supports MAN V FAT Awards

We’ve scaled up our support for MAN V FAT by sponsoring their annual awards for the third-year running.
This year’s awards, which are once again aimed at celebrating the incredible achievements of men who have transformed their health through structured, community-driven weight loss programmes, are set to take place at Villa Park on May 9.
We’re extremely proud to be sponsoring the awards for another year, a commitment which further builds upon our ongoing relationship with MAN V FAT. We’ve been providing the team with our M-545 medical weighing scales for more than 8 years. So far, we’ve provided more than 180 scales to date, enabling the team to further build upon its UK and, more recently, international success story.

Supporting a leading men’s weight loss programme
MAN v FAT runs football, rugby and soccer leagues designed specifically for men with a BMI of more than 27.5. The programme combines weekly weigh-ins, team sport and structured support, all aimed at encouraging sustainable lifestyle changes.

Every week, players are weighed with precision accuracy before matches, using our medical weighing scales, with weight loss contributing towards overall team league standings. This innovative system combines accountability, motivation and camaraderie - key drivers for long-term success.
The role of accurate weighing in weight management
Accurate, reliable weight measurement is fundamental in any professional weight management programme. Our medical weighing scales make sure participants receive precise, consistent feedback on their progress, helping to maintain trust and motivation in the process.
