How we service and calibrate scales
When you request a scale service from Marsden, either by us attending your site or by you returning the product to us, our expert Service Engineers, who are trained by the UK Weighing Federation, will complete the service to the highest industry standard.
What happens during a Service and Calibration Check
- Moving scale parts are checked over.
- A surface level clean is provided to ensure no debris is affecting usage.
- A 5-point service and calibration check is carried out in accordance with the UK Weighing Federation Calibration Code of Practice.
- We’re able to carry out most minor repairs as we carry a supply of OEM spare parts.
- If a Marsden scale requires a major repair, we can complete a full calibration and reverification, on-site, maintaining its Class III approval whilst minimizing downtime.
Once complete, a full Service Report and Calibration Certificate will be electronically provided. This is visible to the customer through an online client service portal.
Through the portal the customer is also able to see and download scale details and history, a real time asset list by location, calibration certificates and service reports.

Administration
We have a very hardworking administration team, which will manage your contract from the initial contract implementation, through to the service visit completion.
Client Portal
Following feedback from our existing customers, we have heavily invested in a state-of-the-art bespoke client portal. This portal can be used to book engineer visits, digitally track assets and download all certification.
Support
Our internal technical support department are always on hand and able to assist with any issues which you may have with your weighing equipment.
