ATY Series Analytical Laboratory Balance

Balance scales are designed to measure sub-milligram capacities - making them ideal for pharmacies, laboratories and paint companies.

Before ordering, consider what the balance will be used for, the materials being used and the the quantity being weighed. The ATY Series has graduations to 0.001g (0.1mg).

All Shimadzu balances available from Marsden come with WindowsDirect software. This software allows you to connect the balance to your PC, and when Print is pressed the weight information is sent to an open document, such as an Excel file.

No additional software is required. All you need to connect the balance to your PC is an I/O to RS-232 cable (no included).

The ATY Series also has a wind chamber: since the scale is so accurate, even wind can affect the readings, and a wind chamber ensures the weight reading on the display is as accurate as possible.

This analytical balance has a Piece Counting function for batch weighing and up to five different samples can be easily entered, stored and recalled for later use. There is also a comparator function which allows the user to compare samples to target values or pass/fail criteria and it clearly shows the results on the display.

The ATY balance also benefits from a Formulation mode for mixing powders and finding the total mass. The power saving mode automatically turns off the scale after a fixed or pre-set time. To ensure that the menu settings of the scale are not changed by mistake a password can be set by the user. Then, each time the button is pressed for the operation menu, the password will have to be entered.
