Crane scales provide you with high capacity weighing without the need for taking up floor space with a platform scale. Awkwardly shaped items can be weighed, space can be saved and very large items can be weighed as they are loaded onto a ship, lorry or train.

A crane scale is very easy to use. The hook on the top of the scale is simply attached to your crane, and the item to be weighed is attached to the hook on the base of the crane scale.

The scale measures the amount of downward pressure from the item that is hanging from the scale. The scale will convert this force into a reading that is then displayed on the digital readout. The OCS-Z has a large, bright red LED display for seeing readings from distances, and is operated by remote control.

Choose the OCS-Z for heavy duty industrial weighing up to 20 tonnes.

The scale has a large bright red LED clearly visible from long distances and benefits from a long life internal 6V/ah rechargeable battery (over 120 hours’ continuous use). It has a stainless steel shackle and alloy steel hook. An overload alarm helps prevent damaging the scale, and remote control means easy operation at a safe distance from the scale.

Hold, Tare and Zero features come as standard and there is an easy to use digital calibration routine to ensure weighing accuracy.
