The Marsden B-100 Bench Scale is our best-selling stainless steel scale. Truly waterproof, its IP68 rating means it can withstand some of the most punishing environments, and can be hosed down at the end of the day. The B-100 is a best-selling weighing device to many sectors including the food manufacturing environment, bakeries, breweries and many more.
The B-100 is IP68 rated. The IP rating is referring to the scale’s level of protection. The first digit (e.g. ‘6’) refers to scale’s protection to dust. The second digit (in this case ‘8’) denotes the level of protection against water and other liquids.
IP65 rated scales are protected against moisture when wiped down with a damp cloth. Scales which are IP67 are splashproof, protected against moisture and can be washed down. IP68 scales, like the B-100, are waterproof and can survive in punishing environments. More information can be found here.

This bench scale’s entire casing is stainless steel. It is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. A mains lead is included, which can be stored inside the scale.
The B-100 has a bright red LED digital display both front and rear and a full range Tare. As a durable, waterproof solution that can be used as a counting scale, check weighing scale, kitchen scale, parcel scale or lab scale, the B-100 represents fantastic value for money.
This scale complies to Reg (EC) 1935/2004 (Materials & Articles intended to come into contact with food).
