The Marsden M-400 is a two-in-one baby scale that features a slide on/off tray. It can be used to weigh babies and then the tray can be removed and young children can then stand on the scale. This is ideal for paediatric departments due to the highly accurate 5g increments.
Class III Approved baby scales need to be highly accurate in order to meet the standard set by the NAWI directive. All scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. Approved scales are subject to rigorous testing by an EU notified body, which provides assurance to the user that they are accurate and reliable.
With high accuracy this baby scale is perfect for hospitals, GP surgeries, birth centres, clinics and lactation consultants. The M-400 is lightweight, robust and has a long battery life, meaning it is also ideal for midwives and health visitors. Thanks to its easy to use features and a removable baby tray, it is also highly suited to weighing babies and young children in neonatal and paediatric units.
