Class III Approved scales are built, tested, verified and calibrated to meet a specific standard, as determined by the NAWI directive. All scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. These scales have been rigorously tested by an EU notified body to assure the user of reliability and accuracy.

The M-955 has a choice of capacity and graduation options: 1000kg x 500g or 600kg x 200g.

The weight of the bed can be removed from the reading, leaving just the precise weight of the patient showing, by using Tare and Preset Tare functions. The numeric keypad allows the height of the patient to be entered - the scale can then automatically calculate BMI.

The four pads included have integrated carry handles, making the M-955 a portable scale. They are also low profile ramps on each pad to minimise effort required to roll the bed onto the pads. Additionally, the M-955’s trolley makes transporting the pads and indicator easy.

This bed scale can also be connected to a printer for a permanent record of a patient’s weight, or choose the optional Bluetooth or Wifi connectivity for information transfer to patient databases (please note: Marsden does not supply software for capturing data from the scale).
