The PT-100 and PT-500 are two very similar pallet truck scales in the Marsden range. They are identical except for their indicators.
The indicator on the PT-500 is plastic, with a large, bright LED weight display. However, the PT-100 indicator is stainless steel. This means the indicator is splashproof and can be wiped down with water to keep it clean. Apart from the indicator, the PT-100 is mild steel.
Pallet truck scales allow you to move pallets as well as weigh them.
In despatch areas goods are transported from their original location to the vehicle via pallet truck. Usually, before the pallet is loaded onto the vehicle it needs to be weighed, adding an extra step into the loading process. However, using a pallet truck scale the pallet can be weighed when it is moved to the vehicle. This helps to speed up your weighing and loading processes.
