The weight of a pet can be the first and sometimes the only indicator of a pet’s health. ‘Pet obesity is the number one issue facing vets’, according to veterinary specialists. Obese animals can encounter breathing problems, due to their lungs being forced to work harder to move the weight.
The V-250 has a rubber mat, which can be laid over the stainless steel surface to make it easier for animals to step onto. The platform is low profile at only 50mm high, making it easier for animals to get onto the scale.
This large veterinary scale is unit switchable (either kg or lb) with the weight reading clearly visible on the indicator’s large bright LCD display. A wall bracket is supplied for mounting the indicator to a wall or bench. The scale is powered by 6x AA batteries or can be powered from the mains using the DC adaptor supplied.
