Why should animals be weighed?

A pet’s weight can be the first and sometimes the only indicator of health problems. Specialists suggest ‘pet obesity is the number one issue facing vets’. Animals which are obese can encounter breathing problems, as their lungs are forced to work harder in order to move their weight. In cats, hepatic lipidosis is a liver disease which is associated with obesity.

The scale features wheels and a handle, making it easy to move. It is easy to store and the indicator comes with a wall bracket. It is powered by a rechargeable battery, meaning it can be used absolutely anywhere needing mains supply. An adaptor is supplied as standard.
