The Marsden M-410 baby scale is lightweight and portable, but what sets it apart from other two-in-one scales is the high capacity. At 50kg, you can weigh babies and children up to 14 years of age on one scale. That combined with the 10g accuracy makes this a highly versatile weighing device for babies, toddlers, infants and children.
The Marsden M-400 Portable Baby Scale and M-410 Baby/Toddler Scale are virtually identical. Both are high precision Class III Approved and MDD Approved baby weighing scales, and both feature the robust, aluminium-reinforced base of our Marsden M-420 and M-430 Floor Scales.
However, where they are different is in their capacities. The M-400 has a capacity of 20kg and an accuracy as low as 5g. The M-410 has a capacity of 50kg, meaning that it is suitable for not just weighing babies and toddlers, but older children too.

The M-410 is a Class III Approved baby scale. Class III Approved scales are built, tested, verified and calibrated to meet specific standards set by the NAWI directive. It states all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. This is because Class III Approved medical scales are rigorously tested to ensure reliability, accuracy and repeatability.
Additionally, the M-410 is MDD Approved, meaning it is approved under the Medical Devices Directive (MDD 93/42/EEC).
Neonatal and paediatric units, health centres and baby clinics can benefit from the scale’s robustness, easy to use features and accuracy to 10g. The M-410 is light, too, so midwives and health visitors can easily transport the scale between appointments.
Choose this baby scale for a complete two-scales-in-one experience. It comes with an optional carry case for easy transportation and is powered by 6x AA batteries with over 100 hours of continuous use.
It features a Tare function to remove unwanted weight and the Hold function can be used to stabilise weight readings.
Bluetooth connectivity is available if wish to send weight information wirelessly from the scale to a database. Marsden does not provide software for receiving weight data from your scale.
