What is the V-23?
The Marsden V-23 Portable Pet Scale is a small, lightweight digital veterinary scale, perfect for keeping regular track of a pet’s weight. A carry handle makes it portable and easy to store away. The scale features Tare and Hold functions, and needs just 4x AAA batteries for power.
Why should my cat or dog be weighed?
A pet’s weight can be the first and only sign of poor pet health. An overweight animal can encounter breathing problems as it can be more difficult to move the excess weight. In fact, specialists have described pet obesity as ‘the number one issue facing vets.’ In cats, hepatic lipidosis is a liver disease associated with obesity.
Why should I choose the V-23?
The V-23 is perfect for weighing small animals, with a 25kg capacity and graduations to 10g. It’s commonly used at home for weighing pets, and in veterinary surgeries.
The scale features Tare (for removing unwanted weight from the display, such as a blanket) and Hold (to stabilise the reading on the display) functions, and weighs in kg or lb. A previous weight reading memory makes weight comparisons from one weigh-in to the next easy.
