What are the advantages of a crane scale?

Crane scale have many advantages. Awkwardly shaped items can be weighed when platform scales are unsuitable. They can save on floor space too, and can be left in situ when not in use.

Time and labour costs can be saved by using the OCS-X. Crane scales such as this one are lightweight and portable so that they can be taken to the item being weighed, rather than the other way around.

Why should I choose the OCS-X?

Choose the OCS-X if you need a crane scale suitable for a variety of applications, with a capacity to 5 tonne and accuracy ranging from 500g to 2kg. The OCS-X is our most popular crane scale.

The scale has a large bright red LED clearly visible from distances and benefits from a long life internal 6V/ah rechargeable battery (over 120 hours continuous use).

An infra red remote control comes as standard and enables easy operation at a safe distance from the scale.

Hold, Tare and Zero features come as standard and there is an easy to use digital calibration routine to ensure weighing accuracy. The OCS-X is robust, portable, accurate and superb value for money.
